Why chase a person who stole a sandwich and a beer? "Video Shows Deadly Confrontation Between Married 7-Eleven Employees and Alleged Shoplifter in Valley Village" | KTLA

I've been at stores where I've seen people stealing things and I've watched them walk out and I reported it to the clerks who don't do anything, and, ironically, that's the right response . I mean why risk their life to go after a person who just still three or four dollars worth of merchandise. and they're hungry . not that they should steal it. but why chase at the risk of losing your life for no good reason. Just write it off as stolen merchandise or spoiled Goods.
